Захороненные на месте стоянки каменного века Сунгирь люди умели окрашивать одежду

Междисциплинарное исследование, в котором участвовали археологи и химики МГУ, было посвящено изучению красочных пигментов в основе повседневной одежды и материалов для погребения жителей раннего верхнего палеолита.



The main idea of the text is that the inhabitants of the Stone Age settlement of Sungir, near Vladimir, Russia, knew how to dye their clothing. This was discovered through a joint study by archaeologists and chemists from Moscow State University who analyzed the pigments used in both everyday clothes and burial materials. They found evidence that the Sungir people used red ochre to color their ceremonial and ritual clothing.
